IMPAC is the acronym for Issues Mobilization Political Action Committee. Now you know why we just say IMPAC! IMPAC is a non-partisan organization that was established in 2003 to promote a pro-business climate in Nevada. Through making endorsements and donating to candidates who promote and vote for policy that is business friendly, IMPAC opens the door for our input on current and proposed legislation impacting the business community.

The IMPAC board is comprised of dedicated individuals who volunteer several hours of their time and make an annual $1,000 dollar donation to the PAC. It is part of the Government Affairs team which includes the Legislative Committee and Henderson Chamber staff. Together we align our efforts to ensure a seat at the table with our elected officials. We achieve this goal through creating relationships with political candidates and government officials, and engaging in discussions with key stakeholders on issues important to Nevada businesses.

During election cycles, IMPAC Directors interview candidates for various statewide political offices, make endorsements and decide on campaign contributions. In 2022, IMPAC Directors conducted 40 interviews with candidates and our endorsements yielded a 90% success rate in the 2022 General Election! During alternate years we focus on fundraising for the PAC and providing the business community access to key stakeholders and politicians through events such as Pancakes and Politics and our Campaign School.
