Henderson Chamber of Commerce Raised $3,800 with Annual Biz+Bots Campaign to Support Robotics
Funds Support Local Henderson Students as They Participate in VEX Robotics World Championships

Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC) raised $3,800 through the generous donations of their members and sponsors as part of their annual Biz+Bots campaign. This year, Biz+Bots supports local students as they participate in the VEX Robotics World Championship in April and May – the largest robotics competition in the world. Every dollar contributed towards the Biz+Bots campaign goes directly to the teams in need as they gather financial resources to acquire much-needed supplies and travel funding for the competition.
“Henderson Chamber of Commerce sees the importance of robotics programs within our community,” says Scott Muelrath, president, and CEO of the Chamber “Our members and sponsors take pride in assisting to fund local students as they show off their skills with such an incredible opportunity such as the VEX Robotics World Championships. We are so excited for these students and wish them success in the competition.”
Fundraising was directed through the
Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation to the Robotics teams at Greenspun Junior High, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas and Pinecrest Academy of Nevada (Sloan Canyon Robotics).
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, professional organization committed to promoting local businesses, providing resources, and enhancing business development within the Southern Nevada community.
