Board Member

Vanessa Goulet is an attorney and the owner of Goulet Law, PLLC, a family law and estate planning firm. She has been working in the legal industry for nearly 25 years, including 15 years in the area of family law. Vanessa obtained her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and after obtaining her paralegal certificate, attended law school at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, receiving her JD in 2014. Vanessa attended law school while maintaining a career as a paralegal and then law clerk with a prestigious, AV-rated family law firm in the Bay Area. During her time in law school, she was a Dean’s List student, a member of Moot Court Board, and received academic achievement awards in the areas of family law, youth law, real property, evidence, and taxation. Vanessa was admitted to the practice of law in Nevada in 2015, and eventually opened her own practice, Goulet Law, in 2017.

Vanessa’s first “out of home” office was at the Launchpad, formerly HBRC, and she credits this opportunity as helping kick start the growth of her business.



Vanessa has been a resident of Henderson, Nevada since 2014. She has been a member of Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Water Street District Business Association since 2017. She held the role of VP of Membership & Advocacy with WSDBA for three years before becoming their acting President from 2021-2024, working with small business owners, the City, fellow chamber organizations and others to make Water Street District a “Destination of Choice.”
