Lisa Chao is a seasoned business development executive with more than 30 years of experience in sales, entrepreneurship, and strategic growth. A proud Las Vegas native, she has worked across various sectors and organizational sizes, from startups to established enterprises, earning a reputation as one of Southern Nevada’s most trusted and connected business leaders.



As Chief Revenue Officer/Senior Vice President of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC), Lisa leads the Chamber’s long-range revenue strategy, overseeing sales, marketing, and business programming to serve the needs of more than 2,200 members. Her leadership has helped shape HCC into a dynamic regional force for economic development and business advocacy.

Since joining the Chamber in 2012, Lisa has played a pivotal role in its growth—expanding membership by 300%, sponsorships by 600%, and overall revenue by 500%. Her office motto, “Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life,” reflects the passion and dedication she brings to her role each day.

Lisa is a proud graduate of the Leadership Henderson 2008 class and has served on the Board of the Henderson High School Leadership Program which benefits juniors in Henderson Schools and was her class project. Lisa currently serves on the Nevada State Development Corporation Board. When she’s not working, Chao enjoys spending time with her family attending sporting events, playing pickleball and reading. Chao is also a huge Vegas Golden Knights fan and a Las Vegas Raiders and UNLV Football season ticket holder!
