Jason Roth, MBA, Vice President for Communications & Partnerships

Jason Roth serves as Vice President for Communications & Partnerships at Roseman University of Health Sciences, where he leverages over two decades of strategic communications leadership in healthcare and higher education. Based in Henderson, Nevada, Jason has established himself as an influential voice in advancing Roseman's visibility and strengthening its connections with key stakeholders.


Jason's career in strategic communications began long before joining Roseman, with significant experience at Mullen Public Relations in Phoenix and Ballard Communications in Las Vegas. At Ballard, he led the healthcare practice from 1999 to 2004, managing budgets, staff resources, and client relationships with hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. At Mullen, he developed and implemented strategic media relations campaigns for a major higher education institution, serving 23 campuses across 9 states.

 

In his current role since June 2020, Jason spearheads university-wide communications strategies and manages partnerships with prominent sports organizations, including the Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights. He plays a crucial role in Roseman University's EMPOWERED program, a community initiative focused on substance use and mental health awareness and support for pregnant and postpartum women. As Executive Producer of the award- winning "EMPOWERED Voices: Recovery to Resiliency" podcast, he helps amplify stories of recovery and resilience while providing valuable resources to the community.

Jason oversees a dynamic Communications Team of professionals who manage the university's media relations, social media presence, creative services, and website development. As a valued member of Roseman's Administrative Council, he contributes significantly to policy development, academic quality assurance, and the creation of innovative programs.


His tenure at Roseman spans back to 2006, having previously served as Vice President of Communications and Public Relations (2011-2020) and Director of Marketing (2006-2011). During these periods, Jason led several transformative initiatives, including aligning marketing efforts with institutional goals and orchestrating a successful university-wide rebranding from the University of Southern Nevada to Roseman University of Health Sciences.

 

Jason's educational background includes an MBA from Roseman University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His professional excellence has earned him recognition as one of Vegas Inc. Magazine's "Top 40 Under 40" in 2010, and he has received commendations from law enforcement agencies including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration for his contributions to public health and safety initiatives, including the development of "Operation Medicine Cabinet," a program for safe disposal of unused medications. Jason completed the Drug Enforcement Administration Citizen's Academy in 2013, further demonstrating his commitment to community
