Join us for our Pancakes & Politics breakfast with U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen.
Our community faces an array of opportunities and challenges. Pancakes & Politics offers insight on issues that impact so many in our business community – those who also live and grow families in Nevada. Join Nevada’s U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen for an engaging conversation about federal issues important to you – from health, education and labor to transportation and small business matters – followed by a Q&A session.
About Jacky Rosen: Before being elected to the Senate in 2018, Jacky Rosen represented Nevada’s third congressional district where she was a part of the bipartisan, problem-solvers caucus and, later, was an endorsed senate candidate by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as she was ranked the fifth-most bipartisan freshman member of the House of Representatives in 2018. Now, in her role as U.S. Senator, Rosen serves on key committees critical to the economic success of our nation, Nevada and its business community, including health, education, and labor; commerce, science and transportation; homeland security and governmental affairs; and small business, among others.
A 40-plus year Nevadan, Rosen started her career as a computer programmer and software developer and before that worked as a banquet waitress on the weekends to pay her bills. She broke barriers in the male-dominated tech industry, working as a computer programmer and software developer for some of the biggest companies in Nevada. Despite her busy schedule, Rosen has and continues to be personally involved throughout her community.
