![]() MANUFACTURING PANEL DISCUSSION AND HDA MIXER On October 17th our Henderson Development Association (HDA) is hosting the 5th annual panel discussion focusing on manufacturing, “Made In Henderson.” Since our inception over 73 years ago, the HCC has had a close relationship with the manufacturing industries that have helped build our city and who produce the products that fuel our local and national economy. This year’s panel will feature some of the leading manufacturers in our community, fielding questions on product lines, logistics, workforce and “Why Henderson?” Prior to our panel discussion, the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) is presenting an FTZ/Bonded Warehouse workshop for those who are interested. And after the panel discussion we invite you to attend the HDA Networking Mixer where hors d’oeuvre & a cash bar will be offered. Panel Moderator: Bart Patterson, President, Nevada State College Panelists: Randy Burk, Executive Vice President, Quality Corrections & Inspections Aaron Hogue, President, Hogue Inc. Workshop: The FTZ/Bonded Warehouse workshop takes place from 4:30-5:30 pm. With the recent changes to tariffs, interest in Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and Bonded Warehousing has increased exponentially. If you would like to know the benefits and how to efficiently apply as either an FTZ or a “Bonded Warehouse,” join U.S. national FTZ and bonded warehousing expert, David Harlow of ITC-Diligence, Inc., and business retention/expansion specialist, Perry Ursem of LVGEA, to learn details on each option, key differentiators between them, and the financial advantages of using one versus the other.
