David Edelblute, Business and Government Affairs Attorney
Snell & Wilmer
"David is a business and government affairs attorney specializing in helping businesses and nonprofits navigate complex interactions with local, state, and federal governments including contracting, licensing, regulatory and administrative matters, and disputes. Prior to his legal career, David worked in the hospitality and gaming industry as a corporate consultant and had a brief career in political campaigning and government work. His unique work history helps him bridge the gap between black and white "legalese" and business owners' goals, which are often in conflict.
David serves his community in several capacities: as a federal appointee to Nevada's Advisory Committee to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission; as a member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce's legislative committee; and as the Secretary to the Board of the Las Vegas chapter of the Federalist Society of Law and Public Policy. David earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2013 and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 2015.
David is a proud native Nevadan born in Las Vegas and raised in Henderson. David spends most of his time with his wife, Shelena, their newborn daughter, Emi, and their dogs, Lyla, and Alfie. When not around his family, David enjoys working out, playing tennis, singing barbershop music, and musical theater."
