Networking event focuses on the Bypass I-11 program
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host a network breakfast featuring the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Terrace Banquet Hall – located at 1361 W. Warm Springs Road near North Stephanie Street in Henderson. The guest speakers will be Mike Hand, the RTC’s director of engineering service, streets and highways, and Rudy Malfabon, director of the Nevada Department of Transportation. They will discuss the Interstate 11/Boulder City Bypass project.

HENDERSON, Nev. – Leadership Henderson recently accepted and announced its class of 2013, the 13th graduating class of the program offered by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The 23 community and business leaders will receive more than 30 hours of professional leadership development training, which began with a two-day kickoff event in October and will continue through May. During the next seven months, participants will meet with Southern Nevada decision makers and learn about Henderson’s key topics and infrastructure.

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce and the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce will host a joint chamber networking mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Westin at Lake Las Vegas, 101 Montelago Blvd. in Henderson. The cost for the event is $10 for members, $20 for non-members. The last day to RSVP is Tuesday, Nov. 27. Attendees can RSVP via the chamber’s website, http://www.hendersonchamber.com. Cancellations are required by the RSVP deadline to receive a refund. There is an additional charge of $10 for walk-ins, those who do not RSVP and pay online prior to Nov. 29.
