Henderson Chamber to welcome Len Christopher of Republic Services April 14
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly networking breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Fiesta Henderson, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway at the 215 Beltway. During the breakfast, Len Christopher, general manager of recycling facilities for Republic Services of Southern Nevada and founding partner of Evergreen Recycling, will present “Republic Services – Making Our Desert Green.”
The presentation will focus on the new Southern Nevada Recycle Center, set to be the largest of its kind in North America once constructed. Christopher will discuss how the project, which recently broke ground, will put Nevada on the map as an environmental leader in recycling and how it will impact the community and local environment.
Endorsements made by chamber’s PAC
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s Issues Mobilization Political Action Committee (IMPAC) has finalized its endorsements for Henderson’s Municipal primary elections, which will take place Tuesday, April 7. Early voting begins Saturday, March 21. The general election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2.
IMPAC serves as a comprehensive, non-partisan political action committee that contributes to the creation of a favorable business climate in Henderson as it relates to issues at the state and local level. The advisory committee of IMPAC, which is independent of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce staff, conducted candidate interviews and made the subsequent endorsements.

HENDERSON, Nev. – A packed room of Henderson Chamber of Commerce board members and tiered sponsors gathered Feb. 19 to hear some unexpectedly welcome news about the state of the global, national and local economies from Mike PeQueen, managing director and partner of Hightower Las Vegas, and John Restrepo, principal at RCG Economics.
PeQueen and Restrepo are authors of “The Stat Pack.” Dubbed “InSight 2015,” the invitation-only private briefing took place at the Lux on the top floor of the M Resort.
