HCC Member Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings & Anniversary Celebrations

A new business launch is your first opportunity to make a good impression on prospective customers and the community. Let us help you get noticed and introduce your business to your future customers by scheduling and promoting your grand opening, new location or anniversary ceremony.

PLEASE NOTE:  A current business license is required before scheduling a Ribbon Cutting.  Once your business license is verified, a date and time will be confirmed. We then send an email invitation to our Board of Directors and Ambassadors and promote your Ribbon Cutting on our Events Calendar.  If you are a Henderson-based business, an invitation is sent to local dignitaries (Henderson Mayor and City Council) as well.  A few weeks following the Ribbon Cutting a photo is posted to our Facebook page and a printed copy is given to you to commemorate the event.

To schedule a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, you are required to fill out all information requested below.

If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Aquino at naquino@hendersonchamber.com or 702.565.8951.

Preferred Date/Times:
For planning and marketing purposes, ribbon cuttings should be scheduled a minimum of one month in advance. The HCC will provide the ribbon, scissors and a photographer for the event.

As the City of Henderson is closed on Fridays, if you are hoping to get Mayor or Council in attendance, we suggest you select a date that falls on a Monday - Thursday. Although we cannot guarantee attendance by dignitaries, we do make every attempt to have them there when their schedule permits. Lastly, we rarely schedule Ribbon Cuttings on the weekend, as attendance tends to be low on those days.

Hours available to schedule your ribbon cutting:
The scheduled time for your event should fall between 10am-4pm and will conclude after one half hour. Time range you enter should include all hours you are available to hold your Ribbon Cutting that day. For example: 11am-2pm means we can schedule your event any time between those hours.
