Linda Gerstenberger, Vice President of Human Resources, Nevada service area

I am currently employed at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals as the Vice President of Human Resources, Nevada Service Area. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Career Occupations/Career Development and Master of Science in Human Resources Management/Training & Development/Technology from Eastern Illinois University. I am married with two children. My husband, Shawn, is the Interim Dean in the School of Community Health Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Shawn and I have been married for 17 years and have lived in Henderson for 16 years. I grew up in a small farming community in central Illinois and Shawn is from a small town in northern Wisconsin. We enjoy spending quality family time with our children Sierra, 13 and Evan 10.

Family time consists of playing games, hiking, swimming, fishing and riding our four-wheelers in southern Utah. The outdoors are a big part of our lifestyle and spending many weekends at our cabin near Duck Creek, Utah, where we enjoy campfires, cool temperatures, and watching wildlife in our own yard. I also volunteer as Team Mom with Elite Youth Sports – Henderson Falcons Football Team U-10 Division. We are truly blessed with our careers, children, family and friends.
