Participants in Leadership Henderson must be committed to representing and to improving their community, their organizations, and themselves. Applicants must also:
SELECTION PROCESS
A selection committee will choose individuals for Leadership Henderson based on a two-part process, including the review of all applications and personal interviews of final candidates. Candidates are evaluated based on:
A professional commitment to remain in the community.
A commitment to complete the program with diligence.
Past and present community involvement.
A sincere concern about the future of our community and a personal desire to help shape that future.
Interviews will be held during August, and all applicants will receive written notification of their selection status the first week of September.
TUITION
The cost per participant is $1,800. Payment will be due upon acceptance into the program. Cash, check or credit card accepted. The tuition is non-refundable if a selected applicant is terminated from the program for absence or other reasons.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Limit answers to the space provided. No attachments are permitted.
Complete and sign the application. The applicant’s employer must also sign the application.
Mail or deliver applications to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber must receive all application packages no later than 5:00 p.m., the last Friday of July. Call Rebecca Fay, Program Coordinator, at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, (702) 565-8951, additional information.
