The HCC Foundation’s Thursday, March 1st Roadmap to Success workshop will discuss "Nevada Employment Hot Topics for 2018," presented by Swen Prior, Partner/Attorney at Snell & Wilmer.
As we move into 2018, employers want to know what to expect from the Trump Administration, Congress, Nevada Legislature and federal and state regulatory agencies. This seminar will give an overview of the challenges Nevada employers currently face, as well as provide strategies that they can use to help navigate through 2018 and beyond. Topics of discussion include Nevada's recent legislative changes such as the Nevada Pregnant Workers' Fairness Act and the legalization of recreational and medical marijuana, as well as a review of anti-discrimination and harassment laws in the current environment.
