The HCC will host its monthly networking breakfast “The Future of Henderson’s Economic Growth” presented by Barbra Coffee, Director of Economic Development/Tourism for the City of Henderson, from 7 - 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 13th.
In the 1980s and the early 1990s, Henderson became a national leader when it came to the success of master-planned communities. While the population boom has continued, the past decade has established Henderson as “The Las Vegas Valley Address for Business Success.”
Not only is Nevada’s second largest city “a place to call home” – as the city’s slogan states – it has also become a premier place in the Southwest to do business.
Barbra Coffee serves as Manager of Economic Development and Tourism for the City of Henderson. She is responsible for the city’s economic development strategy, which includes local business retention and expansion programs, business attraction, strategic business alliances and business ombudsman activities. Her division is also responsible for the management of the Redevelopment Agency, which includes the five redevelopment areas of Cornerstone, Downtown, Eastside, Lakemoor Canyon and Tuscany.
Registration Fee: $35 Members and $55 Non-members (with an additional $10 for walk-ins).
