The Henderson Business Resource Center

The Henderson Business Resource Center provides business development advice to new and growing business in southern Nevada and flexible office space for up to 10 tenants.

Although new to the City of Henderson, business incubators worldwide have helped establish thousands of businesses. Studies have shown that companies supported by incubator programs are more successful, grow faster, and provide more employment opportunities to their communities than businesses who go it alone.

Henderson's first Business Incubator, located in the newly renovated Wells Fargo Building at 112 Water Street in downtown Henderson, provides on-site counseling, seminars, and workshops for new and developing companies. Three distinct programs--for Applicants, Tenants and Affiliates--provide support for new and growing businesses

Applicant Programs: To assist individuals who are not yet ready to launch a business, but want to learn how, the Business Resource Center provides direction and guidance through its education business partners, including the SBDC, SCORE, the Nevada MicroEnterprise Initiative, the Community College of Southern Nevada, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Affiliate Programs: The Business Resource Center provides fee-based services to established businesses. As affiliate members, businesses can attend seminars and training programs at reduced rates, utilize Resource Center counseling, and access other services offered through the Business Resource Center.

Tenant Programs: Tenants in the Center take advantage of affordable office space with flexible leases, shared support services, and access to experienced management and entrepreneurial counseling.

Companies in the fields of software and technology development, engineering, marketing, accounting and similar professional services are "incubated" for a short period of time until they outgrow their startup status and take their place in the business community, possibly locating in the city's new redevelopment areas.

This public/private partnership is a joint effort by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Wells Fargo Bank, Clark County Commissioners, the Community College of Southern Nevada, the City of Henderson, USAA Bank, the Henderson Public Improvement Trust, Nevada Power and Sprint.
