Ms. Martz is the Chief Executive Officer of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit voluntary organization committed to promoting and supporting member businesses.


Martz is serving or has served on many local advisory boards including: Early Voting Citizens Advisory Board; Henderson Industrial Citizens Activity Panel; Clark County Steering Committee; RAC Restoration Advisory Board LandWell; Senior Citizens Nutrition program; Vice President, Henderson Convention Center and Visitors Center Advisory Board; Henderson Redevelopment Advisory Board; Community Development Block Grants; and Reclamation Advisory Committee, Regional Medical Coalition, Legislative Committee; Job Shadowing Programs with Clark County teacher/administrators; Nevada Power Advisory; CCSN Advisory Board; Nevada State President Advisory Board, Clark County Comprehensive Planning Board, and the Henderson Rotary Club.

In 2001, The Salvation Army-Henderson Corps honored Martz with the prestigious "Others" Award for her continued commitment of serving other people. The award is the highest honor given by The Salvation Army to non-officers.

A graduate of Leadership Henderson's inaugural class in 2001, Martz has also been profiled in Distinguished Women of Southern Nevada (1997, 1999, 2002) and listed as an Honored Professional in the National Registers' Who's Who in Executives & Professionals (2002, 2006). Martz's memberships and affiliations include: Rotary International, Western Association of Chamber Executives, and National Association for Female Executives. She is also a graduate from the United States Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Organizational Management, Class of January 2004.

Prior to serving with the Chamber, Martz was a librarian for the United States Air Force Europe in Deccomminau, Italy. While there, Martz received the "Award of Excellence" for Quadranational Base and was honored three years as USAF Europe's "Volunteer of the Year."
